 HOMEMADE GRAPENUTS
2 cups each: whole wheat flour, corn meal, rolled oats, flour, buttermilk, then 2 tablespoons: soda, two teaspoons: salt, 1 cup dark brown sugar, 1 cup dark molasses.

Mix all flours and grains together , then add soda and salt,  buttermilk and sugar and molasses. Bake in slow oven one hour. (250) Allow to dry an hour or more. Grind with course setting in food grinder. and Toast lightly and then dry well.

 Store in airtight container. This cereal will mold easily if left in a plastic bag at room temp.
To serve, pour in bowl and add milk and sugar. It is very filling and good for you. The course grind is like that on a meat grinder with those triangle shaped patterns. This is not like the store bought cereal but really good. Experiment with different types of flours.   Enjoy, Howard Selby
